What is the Korean Skincare Regimen That Revolutionized The Beauty Industry?

Have you ever wondered how Koreans have such flawless skin? Their secret is out now! Our Korean sisters have a 10-step skincare routine that keeps their skin young. Daily adherence to a 10-step regimen may be tough. But the outcomes of this beauty regimen will keep you motivated.

Let's break down each step:

Skin Care Routine in 10 Steps

Do a patch test before utilizing the Korean facial or any of these items. Apply the product to the back of your hand and wait 24 hours. If no reaction occurs, you can begin the Korean beauty regimen:

Step 1: Cleanse With Oil

First, use an oil cleanser to remove makeup and grime from the skin.

Oil-based cleansers are less irritating than regular cleansers. They decompose oil-based makeup, sunscreen, and dirt. These cleaners also remove water-resistant sunscreens.

Then gently rub the product in circles over your face. Circular cleansing improves blood flow to the skin and helps cells to function properly. This keeps your skin healthy and glowing!

Rinse with lukewarm water after 2 minutes of cleansing. To avoid skin irritation and allergic reactions, you should dilute essential oils with a carrier oil.

Step 2: Re-Cleanse!

Preventing oil-based contaminants is the first step. A foaming/water-based cleanser is used to remove perspiration and debris from the skin. Double cleansing your face removes dirt, grime, sweat, and oil-based pollutants.

A few pumps of the cleanser gently massaged into the skin. Your skin barrier must be protected by a pH-balanced cleanser. Assertively encapsulate those essential oils!

Step 3: Exfoliation

An appropriate light scrub should work as an exfoliator. This will brighten and firm your skin. It also helps tone and textures your skin.

Use a small bit on your palm and gently roll it on your face. After a few seconds, wash it off.

Step 4 - Apply Toner

A toner is used to clean your face and balance your skin's pH levels after cleansing it. However, toners tend to dry out the skin, leaving it tight and dry. Avoid toners containing alcohol.

More recently, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory toners have been developed. Unlike alcohol-based products, they are hydrating and relaxing. Find a toner that works for your skin.

How To Use: Gently pat a few drops of toner into your skin. A cotton pad works well too.

Step 5 - Essence

Essential in Korean skincare, an essence is a concentrated form of a serum. It relaxes and heals your skin at the same time, offering the best of both worlds! An essence is moisturizing and promotes cell turnover.

Use a few drops on your fingers and gently pat on your skin.

Step 6: Serum/ampoule/Booster

Your skin is now clear and able to absorb the more vital substances effectively. The Mermaid Marine Collagen Serum is a concentrated version of essences. It consists of active chemicals that target wrinkles, pigmentation, and dark spots on the skin. This stage of the Korean skincare routine is aimed to promote skin health overall.

Step 7: Apply A Sheet Mask

This Korean beauty product is sweeping the market. Vitamin and mineral-rich collagen facial mask sheet is soaked in serum. And it leaves your skin looking glowy and healthy. Look at hydrogel eye patch review first before trying it on your skin.

It is important to note that sheet masks are not meant to be used on children. To use, carefully pat the mask around your eyes and mouth. For 20-30 minutes. Sheet masks are great for pre-party prep!

Step 8: Apply Eye Cream

The skin surrounding your eyes normally ages first. Eye creams target wrinkles, dark circles, and crow's feet around the eyes. They calm and hydrate the skin around your eyes.

Intensely hydrate the skin beneath your eyes with a pea-sized drop of this nourishing serum.

Step 9: Hydrate

Moisturize!

These steps are crucial in Korea to lock in the preceding layers. More of an occlusive barrier to lock-in previous products. Use a moisturizer with low oil content if you have oily skin. To soothe dry skin, use a heavy cream-based moisturizer.

Incorporate a pea-sized amount of the cream, lotion, gel, or spray into your skin. For 10-15 minutes, massage your skin in circles.

Don't Forget Step 10!

Protect your skin from damaging UV radiation with an SPF of at least 15. UVA and UVB rays can cause skin damage (3). A physical sunblock or mineral sunscreen is recommended for oily skin to prevent plugged pores.
